Our special educational client provide a curriculum and learning environment to pupils with cognition needs and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Within the learning centre, education is provided by engaging the pupils in a creative and nurturing environment aswell as outdoor activities.
Along with providing a curriculum to the pupils, their well being is paramount and pastoral care plays a big part of the role.
An exciting position has now arisen for a Male 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their team of staff supporting male pupils with cognitive and behavioural difficulties. You will be required to provide day to day support by engaging them in outdoor activities along with assisting their learning of the curriculum. You may also be required to deliver lessons. Personal care will also play a part in this role.
You do not need qualified teacher status for this post but you will be required to provide guided learning across the key subjects and think outside of the box to engage pupils and encourage them to grow and flourish.
