What is the purpose of the role?

The Spring programme is a major transformation of our legacy mainframe based billing system to use SAP IS-U and C4C. The SAP Applications Analyst will have a broad SAP background with strong experience working with SAP PO. You will be ensuring maintenance planning and adherence to procedures for operating efficiency.

The areas of expertise we're looking for are focused on the end to end service management of our IT services. This is a chance for you to work in our innovative creative office space where you will be able to visually demonstrate your skills, ideas and insights openly. This is a challenging role which requires you to help deliver the best next generation services to all our customers. Thames Water are about to embark on a very exciting journey to improve our IT services. You will be part of a new team creating our own in house multi-million pound ITIL service management framework. You will be involved in continuously improving our service for our current and future long term vision.

What will this role involve?

Stakeholder management: Act as a single point of contact for business and TTA stakeholders on BAU operational service delivery. Develop key relationships within the business area and the IT department.

BAU service delivery: Ensure that all operational services are fit for purpose. Work as part of the overall programme delivery, support gate activities, defining service architecture and service introduction.

The role will be based in our central Reading office but regular travel will be required to our Swindon office to work with the project team. Travel could be initially as much as 2-3 days a week.

What are we looking for?

You will be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail. Strategic thinking and have the ability to deliver under pressure.

Must be capable of working flexible hours sometimes under pressure of aggressive deadlines.

5 years SAP Integration experience SAP PO, SAP PI, SAP XI, ABAP, JAVA.

Strong consulting experience.

Proven experience working as a SAP PI Consultant / SAP PI Developer.

Knowledge and understanding of SAP core modules: Enterprise Core Component (ECC), SAP/ERP implementation, and interface types (IDOC, RFC calls and ALE).

Hands on experience in SAP - PI/PO (process orchestration) SAP Net weaver Exchange Infrastructure/Process integration experience includes Design, Development, Implementation, system integration and support.

Should have experience in working with Integration Builder (IR or ESR & ID) and SLD.

This role is based at our offices in Swindon. We are offering a salary of between £26,350 and £35,650, dependent on skills and experience.
