Business Development Manager - Specification Sales, Glasgow
An award winning producer of building components, my client is searching for a highly articulate, intelligent and ambitious sales person to join their team in Glasgow.

You will be prospecting and managing accounts throughout the country, and will be targeting high-level individuals from organisations such as education authorities, local authorities, architects, and specifiers, so it is imperative that you aren't intimidated by speaking candidly to director-level prospects.
You will be working closely with the external sales team throughout the country, booking meetings etc. You will be targeted and bonused on number of meetings booked, and conversion rates, so your ability to qualify these leads is imperative.
The client is happy to cater to individuals who need to work around school runs etc, so can offer some degree of flexibility, and is open to home workers, as they have operated on this basis before, and all of their software is web-based.
The products themselves are market-leading, and this is reflected in the price - one of their products is around 20x more expensive than competitors. That being said, they want to avoid bringing someone on who sells on price, or makes pressure-sales. They really want someone who uses an educational, consultative approach.
If you have experience in a B2B telesales role, have sold to director-level prospects, and have sold a unique or market-leading product based on features and benefits, rather than price, my client would really like to meet you.
Likely salary is around the £30k mark, plus a generous bonus structure.
