What is the purpose of the role?
This is a key role that sits within the Customer Experience Business Intelligence within Thames Water. You will be required to work with Senior Analysts to address analytical needs of business units and furnish them with insightful value adding management information that aligns to the strategic direction of the our Customer Experience division.

What will this role involve?
Working closely with key process decision makers to understand where business intelligence can help drive improvements.
Development and maintenance of a range of related information.
This may include customer satisfaction, trends in employee performance and production of KPI balanced scorecards.
Using analytical tools to quantify issues and identify bottlenecks in processes then assist in the designing and delivery of technical solutions that deliver effective insight using MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, Business Objects or other similar technologies such as Power BI.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role either a data, reporting & business intelligence analyst or equivalent, preferably with utility industry experience. Ideally, you will have worked as an analyst and helped deliver reporting solutions as well as having a good understanding of report design and delivery. Ideally, you will be passionate in problem solving and have an inquisitive thirst for learning new things. You will need to be a fast learner for this role, since you will be taught lots of different things in a short space of time. So too must you be a focused listener, good at taking notes and good at asking the right questions. To be considered for this role you will have had experience in creating reporting solutions using Excel and Access. It would be desirable to have experience with SQL and Business Objects.
Thames Water information and salary details
This role is based at our offices in Kembrey Park, Swindon. We are offering a salary of up to £32,000 for the right candidates.
