What is the purpose of the role?
In this role you will support the Head of Corporate Strategy in the development and production of our long-term business strategies, integrating all functions. Forming part of a small team, you will work with the Executive and senior leadership team to help shape our future.

What will this role involve?
Identify and deliver engagement approaches and embed a culture of long-term strategic planning.
Identify, research, analyse and present the case for strategic options for the business.
Support business units to shape their own strategy in line with the overall corporate strategy.
Develop and maintain the strategy risk process through conducting strategic business oversight to identify external opportunities and threats.
Support the development and implementation the strategic component of Price Reviews and the annual, business-as-usual strategy and planning process.
What are we looking for?
From experience, you will be a strong leader through the delivery of key projects and have the ability to maintain relationships internally and externally. You will be required to demonstrate a strong engagement style and influencing skills with sound judgement. Through collaboratively working throughout the business you must be able to drive change. You will have a track record of sourcing and analysing a wide range of quantitative and qualitative information and developing profound insights that influence the direction of a business.
Thames Water information and salary details
This role is based in our central Reading head office, offering a salary up to £62,000. In addition to the basic salary you will also receive bonus, car allowance, private medical insurance and industry-leading pension scheme.
