What is the purpose of the role?

Responsible for providing forecasts, long and short term for the spring planning function in line with the ambition, vision and values of the wider operational Insight and analytics team. Working alongside the demand planning manager and Spring Project Team to successfully move Forecasts volumes Frontline/Back office from Merlin Legacy to spring.

What will this role involve?

The Onboarding Forecast Analyst responsibilities will adhere to;

Supporting the demand planning manager and forecasting team function that is aligned to industry best practice, ensuring that control awareness and reforecasting is applied throughout to ensure we are best aligned to deliver for our Customers.

Own Onboarding Forecast delivery, challenging and supporting business activity to ensure customer is at the forefront of all decisions made.

Become part of the Planning Team within Insight & Analytics and if required during unplanned events and incidents, assisting other areas within I&A to minimize impact to our customers' experience.

Own and drive Onboarding Demand Planning, establishing yourself as the SME for the Team and building and maintaining relationships with your Key Stakeholders across the Business.

Develop and embed a BAU quality process to ensure outputs are accurate, timely and in line with expected standards.

Demonstrate an "always on" approach to ensure you live and breathe Forecast Planning.

Demonstrate flexibility to the role to ensure you are available to support as and when required.

Advocate team working, ensuring relationships are built and maintained across the business, demonstrating pride in the brand and belief in a company unified approach.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a wealth of forecast planning experience, for contact centre and back office teams. Previous experience of working in large projects and key stakeholder management and be able to liaise with staff at all levels and ability to effectively and appropriately challenge will be expected. You must have strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent IT skills and relevant industry specific tools with exceptional excel skills and other office systems. All applicants must have strong commercial acumen skills, knowledge of outsourcing as well as current future trends in use of technology, such as Anaplan.

Thames Water information and salary details

This role is based in our offices in Swindon, Wiltshire. We are offering a salary of £27,000 to £33,000 per annum depending on experience.
