We are delighted to be able to support our Client, a market leading Distributor with their search for a Trainee Management Accountant / Sales Ledger Clerk. My Client is based in prestigious offices on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre.
- You should be a recent Accounting & Finance Graduate. Our Client will welcome applications from candidates who've gained a couple of years experience as an Accounts Apprentice / Assistant, Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger Clerk or Credit Control Clerk.
- Knowledge of Xero would be useful
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a close-knit, friendly team where the company has recently enjoyed increased sales growth.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring all cash, cheque & BACS payments are correctly allocated, posted & matched to customer accounts in order to minimise overdue debt
- Processing payments over the phone
- Chasing overdue debt for multiple ledgers & dealing with customer queries via email & phone
- Assisting with preparation of Management Accounts
- Production of financial statements
This role is paying a salary of up to £21,000 + study support.
