Ex-Military Careers Announces New Partnership With RBLI

A positive climax to 2014 as Ex-Military Careers announce new Partnership with RBLI and recap on their Year.

Ex-Military Careers are delighted to announce their partnership with RBLI, a national charity supporting the Armed Forces Community & those affected by disability, health conditions or social welfare needs.  As part of the charity, RBLI offers ‘Lifeworks’ 5 day courses across the UK and at their training centre in Kent. The ‘LifeWorks’ course is fully funded and designed to equip ex-Armed Forces personnel with the tools to get into and maintain a civilian job/career that marries their current skillset. The course also offers free accommodation to learners and free meals as part of the course package.

The partnership comes as a positive climax to an incredible year for the Social Enterprise and it feels that both organizations couldn’t be more perfectly aligned in their focus.

Ex-Military Careers kick started their journey in July of this year creating a Jobs Board specifically targeted at easing the transition and resettlement process for Ex-Military personnel from the Forces to Civvy Street.

Granted Social Enterprise status in September, profits generated from Ex-Military Careers are reinvested back into the charity, Ex-Military foundation (making contributions to industry courses, travel, attire and various other employment solutions).

The free to use Jobs Board was expertly built using industry leading technology so it guarantees that Ex-Military Careers.com is the most effective and cutting-edge online recruitment solution for their members.

Clients of Ex-Military Careers include Fujitsu, Mitie, RyanAir, Virgin active and Thames Water.

In November the business was invited to speak at the House of Lords to talk about how it feels to be awarded social enterprise status and what it means to be helping Ex-Military Personnel. In the same Month they also attended a prestigious evening at Buckingham Palace hosted by Princes William and Harry and attended by HRH Queen Elizabeth II. The reception was held to mark the contribution of all the organisations involved in the medical care, recovery and rehabilitation of British Servicemen and Servicewomen during operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, either to enable them to return to duty or to make a successful transition into civilian life.

All in all it has been a remarkable half year for Ex-Military Careers and it looks like 2015 is going to be even better as they continue to go from strength to strength.
