1st/2nd Line Support Engineer - Saffron Walden - Permanent

Salary up to £24,000 Dependent on experience + Company benefits + excellent career progression

This is your chance to join a well-established, customer-focused IT services company and work in a 'non-call centre', tightly knit Service Desk team

We have an exciting new opportunity to join a market leading IT solutions provider covering enterprise clients across the UK.

You will join the team that provides the highest level of support to provide support and be involved in upgrade projects for a growing customer base.

We are looking for a candidate that has excellent technical and interpersonal skills with some project management capabilities, preferably with experience working for a IT solutions provider previously in a 1st or 2nd Line Support Engineer role.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Support customers' needs by dealing with reported incidents from ticketing systems and telephone within the contracted SLA.
  • PC/Laptop hardware and the ability to identify different components and replace them.
  • Good Microsoft 365 knowledge, including Active Directory, Office, Exchange, and Azure
  • Basic Server and Infrastructure knowledge
  • Providing an escalation point service for 1st line colleagues
  • Working knowledge of Group Policy & basic Networking
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure in a fastmoving environment.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player
