We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a busy fresh produce distributor based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for regular work, a straightforward trunking operation, and ongoing assignments.

The role involves completing a trailer swap in Exeter before returning to Worcester, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of fresh produce across the network.

Role Overview

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for trunking fresh produce between distribution centres. This is primarily a driving role with minimal manual handling and consistent routes.

Shift Patterns

• Day and night shifts available
• Ongoing work

• Shifts up to 12 hours
• Weekend work available
• Immediate starts available

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking runs from Worcester
• Carry out a trailer swap in Exeter
• Transport fresh produce safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
• Maintain high standards of professionalism
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
