Apprenticeship Qualification: L3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician

Location: TCS Oakhanger, Bordon, Hampshire

Working Week: Monday - Friday

Salary: £17000 plus benefits and 25 days annual leave

Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 36 months

As Apprentice Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician, you will receive on-site training is for configuration and real time operation of a variety of satellite ground and communication systems including assisting with routine maintenance, system checks and tests, and fault troubleshooting / rectification.

Day to day you'll be involved in:

• Complete site Training package to gain approved certification in various workstations as an Operator within the Operations and Maintenance Department.
• You will maintain routine daily operation of the Communications area
• Assist with planning and completion of equipment maintenance activities within the Operations area

-   Documentation of all maintenance activity as required under CPD apprenticeship scheme requirements.

-   Maintain an understanding of Safety Risk and Compliance regulations appropriate to area.

Preparing for your recruitment journey:

 As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete assessments as part of your application. If you are successful, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview. 

Our provider will require you to take a skill scan and undertake initial assessments if you are selected for the apprenticeship.

You must have GCSE grades A-C or 9- 4 under the new grading system in Maths and English (or acceptable equivalent) or L2 Functional Skills.
