Here at VIVO, we have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person to join our friendly and successful team on a 36 month Apprenticeship to become a qualified Quantity Surveyor.

During your Apprenticeship, you will work closely with one of our Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors who will mentor and train you in all aspects of the Quantity Surveyor role.

Day to day duties will include providing business support to our team of Quantity Surveyors, dealing with procurement and suppliers, learn all about change management and how to implement meaningful change in a business setting, and getting out to visit and evaluate our Defence sites in the South West and South East of England.

In addition to this, we will teach you how to do Cost Value Reconciliation reporting, how to process sub contractor payments, as well as Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures. You will also learn how to manage projects from pre-construction phase all the way to completion.

This Apprenticeship will see you become an integral part of our team, with exceptional support, mentoring and guidance from a highly qualified and experienced team. You will hit the ground running, getting involved with varied and interesting work, and learn essential skills alongside gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

You will get exposure to clients and learn how to manage expectations and build successful professional relationships at all levels and learn and contribute to how Defence contracts are run.

This role will be home based, but we require candidates to be located in Wiltshire as you will have to travel to our Larkhill site for weekly team meetings.

There will be travel required with this role as you will be going out to all our sites in the South of England. Although you don't necessarily need to have your own transport, you must be able to travel long distances by yourself. We will pay travel expenses which you will claim for after the event.

For candidates aged 18 or older with A Levels at Grade 4 (C) and above with 96 UCAS points, you will be entered onto a degree level apprenticeship.

You must be willing to travel, live in Wiltshire, and have an interest in the Construction industry.
