Location: Carterton, OX18 3LX

Working Week: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Salary:  £17,000 per annum plus 25 days per annum
Apprenticeship Qualifications: L2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative

Expected Apprenticeship Duration: TBC

As a Apprentice Storekeeper you will be  responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the Serco contracted output within the nominated Logistics area. You will be also responsible for maintaining of standards and complying with contractual requirements and adhering to authorised procedures.

Day to day you'll be involved in:

• Delivery of the logistics output in line with work instructions for the role
• Provide a walk-in counter service and support to customers                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
• Manage stock within stock holding areas daily
• All work locations and stock holding areas to be cleaned and maintained to an acceptable condition
• Management of consumable stocks held off stock charge in breached packaging and Fuels and Lubricant type packed stocks
• Manage and operate a demand and issuing process (including locker boxes where appropriate)
• Maintain shelf stock in accordance with regulations
• Ensure submitted demand requests are checked, justified, approved and processed on MJDI to meet the Required Delivery Date (RDD)
• Provide and manage a demand progressions service
• Conduct all receipting activity for equipment/clothing and bring onto the MJDI Materiel Account.

What you'll need to do the role:

• Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office
• High standard of oral communication skills
• Driving licence (beneficial)
• Entry requirements TBC
