Location: Portsmouth, also to cover Southampton

Salary: Competitive + company car/car allowance + benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, full time, permanent

 

VIVO are seeking an experienced Area Manager to over see all Hard FM Planned and Reactive Maintenance across 11 sites in Portsmouth and 1 site in Southampton.

 

This role will see you make sure the supply chains are adequate, diarising works, monitoring progress, monitoring overdue works, making sure certifications are in place and ensure all reactive maintenance services are delivered to end users, all jobs are done on time and safely, as well as ensure all jobs are raised appropriately and certificates are uploaded to Maximo.

 

You will also carry out asset checks, monthly audits and be responsible for the successful achievement and reporting of all KPIs for the service.

 

You will have direct management responsibility for 4 Built Estate Managers, with another 30+ indirect reports. You will be responsible for the service performance across all 12 sites in the area. 

 

 

 

What You Need To Do The Job:

First and foremost, you should be an experienced Regional, Area or Senior Manager from a Hard FM services background, with exceptional leadership and people management skills and experience of managing and maintaining positive working relationships with external customers as well as internal stakeholders at all levels.

 

You should have excellent communication, IT and reporting skills, as well as a proven track record of proactive performance management, motivating staff and leading by example, with a sound knowledge of Health and Safety and risk management.

 

A HND/HNC level of education would be ideal, however we are more than happy to accept applications from candidates who are qualified by experience.

 

To be considered for this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence, be willing and able to travel to all sites you are responsible for, and pass SC Clearance.
