Job Advert Overview My client are an industry leading technology business with a global presence. They are looking to recruit an Assay Developer to support and develop automated workflows for their proprietary lab-on-chip devices.The RoleThe duties of this role will span across the full product development lifecycle from defining assay specifications to designing and optimizing automated workflows and coordinating assay verification and validation activities. The role will allow include the responsibility of taking results from the research department and translating them into automated workflows on the device. Requirements* Degree in chemistry or biochemistry* A PhD or equivalent industrial experience* Experience in assay development with commercial applications* Experience in the analysis and handling of biomolecules* Quality Management Systems experience preferably ISO13485Experience any of the following will be advantageous:* Familiarity with formal project management frameworks (Prince2)* Experience with microfluidic devices* Experience working in biochemistry laboratories and familiarity with biological hazards and safe working practices for biological material handling* Experience working within a multidisciplinary product development teamWhat should you do next?
