We're recruiting for two experienced Asset Condition Surveyors to join our Justice & Immigration (J&I) FM contract. You must have at least 5 years' experience in a PFI setting, to take on this crucial role in evaluating and assessing the physical state of various assets, such as buildings, infrastructure, or equipment.
You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, documenting conditions, and analysing data to provide accurate reports on the status of assets across our J&I Estate. To add immediate value, it is imperative that you are a qualified engineer in one of the BES disciplines and working knowledge of building services engineering in a commercial/custodial setting.
Whilst this role reports directly to Head of Surveying you will be required to work closely with and take direction from the Head of Asset Management (HoAM), accountabilities will include:
What you'll need to do the role
First and foremost, you must be a qualified engineer in one of the BES disciplines and have the required knowledge, experience, application, and understanding of asset data collections and lifecycle principles.
You will be competent producing reports, working with large data sets and meeting deadlines.
MOJ FM Custodial experience essential and a prerequisite for this role.
Finally, flexibility is a must - This is a mobile role covering locations nationally across the UK therefore must have a flexible approach to travel to/from sites and be prepared to stay away from home, potentially this could be up to 2-3 nights a week.
