The Job Opportunity

 

Serco is currently bidding for a mega project in Riyad and we are looking to hire Assistant Soft Services Manager who will support the Facilities Management team with the delivery and management of soft service providers across a prestigious commercial tower in KSA. The Assistant Soft Services Manager will be responsible for monitoring all KPI's, preparing all monthly, daily reports and leading all soft services elements such that the client receives a 7 star customer experience.

 

The hiring for this role is subject to contract award.

 

Key accountabilities

 

  • Management soft services functional area.
  • Development of daily and monthly schedules for soft FM companies.  
  • Assist with any functional requirements - technical soft FM requirements
  • Ensure implementation an adherence for soft FM policies and procedures e.g., BICS for cleaning.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for onsite soft services operations activities.
  • Work alongside the functional area supervisors or subcontractors to ensure a seamless delivery of Operational support
  • Manage allocated teams responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports

 

 

What we are looking for in our candidates:

 

  • Qualified in BICS and commercial towers soft FM management.
  • An understanding of Facility Management contractors in KSA
  • Fluent in English (reading and writing), Arabic or other second language preferable
  • Ability to make difficult decisions

 

 

Specific requirements

 

  • Minimum 4years' experience, two years of which were in a similar role working within a highly dynamic and complex commercial environment, with specific experience related to Soft Services facility management operations.
  • Understanding of Soft Service operational dependencies and impact on other functions and non-operational directorates.
  • Clear understanding on cleaning, landscaping, waste management, security and reception services. (Best operational practises).
  • Background in facilities soft services management and operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in managing Teams within the Facility Management (Soft FM) industry
  • Experience in working with multi-agency stakeholder
  • Six Sigma certification is a preference (Yellow Belt/Green Belt/Black Belt).
