The purpose of the role is to perform assistance to the Chiller Technician in the operation & maintenance of the chiller plant equipment that include chillers, pumps, cooling towers, control & isolation valves, filters & strainers, chemical dosing units and all other auxiliary equipment within CUC's and centralized packaged chillers.

Key accountabilities

• Can correctly setup and use Mechanical test equipment and interpret the test results to include; Manifold Gauge, Clamp Meter, and Temperature / Humidity Meter
• Basic knowledge in safe systems of work (mechanical isolation, electrical isolation)
• Assets Exposure (Direct) - Major asset, but not limited to Chillers, Compressors, Cooling Tower, Pumps
• Asset Maintenance Experience (Hands-on) - For listed Assets, in the capacity as team member and solo; Periodic Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Trouble Shooting, and Inspections
• Assisting to do Steel fabrication involving welding and oxy cutting.
• Assisting to do Installation of pumping, filtration, and irrigation systems, including pipe works.
• Assisting to do Responsible for fitting, fabricating, and assembling the piping components that make up mechanical systems such as chilled water, storm, and potable water pumping systems.

Specific requirements

• High School Certificate
• A minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance of Chiller equipment or general machinery maintenance
• This position requires a very good level of spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in oral and written English.
• Working knowledge in MS Office (Word / Excel / Power point)                                    
• Good knowledge in safe systems of work (mechanical isolation, electrical isolation)
