As Bid Writer, you'll provide professional and high-quality bid writing support for bids, large and small, within our Bidding Teams. Working closely with the rest of the bidding team - and thoroughly understanding the proposed solutions - you'll produce quality bids that meet the client's brief whilst being visually engaging and compelling. This will include the production of written responses, storyboards, and other bidding collateral.

What you need to do the role

You'll be proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and able to multi-task and prioritise under pressure of deadlines. Naturally you'll be an excellent and influential communicator, both on paper and in person. Your technical writing capable will bring most value to this role, whilst some understanding of the markets we operate in can be beneficial.

 

As someone who may already work in a complex and varied bidding environment, we're excited to hear from candidates with experience of creating and managing bid deliverables or similar outputs focused on communicating with customers. You're able to quickly assimilate complex information and apply creative intelligence to its communication. You'll be a critical part of highly engaged and motivated bid teams, driven by success and excellence. We have successful writers from a range of academic and commercial backgrounds, who share a common experience of being able to express ideas through clear and compelling text.
