Across The Great Western Hospital, we provide a variety of facilities management services including catering, cleaning, portering and maintenance. We are currently looking for a Building Fabric Manager to join our team, which will play a critical role in keeping the Hospital running and open.
The Building Fabric Manager will manage and lead the Building Fabric Estates team to enable the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of the building services and equipment within the hospital. Working with the Serco Estates Team, the Building Fabric Manager will be responsible for managing the team to deliver build operations across the estate.

What you'll need
To be considered for this role you'll need to have a strong knowledge of building services with a fabric bias and an understanding of a CAFM system. You will be an experienced manager or supervisor with previous experience of driving a team to meet business objectives. You will be computer literate and have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
As you'll be working in an environment where you'll interact with NHS staff, patients and other members of staff you'll need to have excellent communication skills and discretion. Lastly, you'll have a flexible attitude as you'll be undertaking a wide variety of duties and providing leadership to the maintenance team.
