Working Week: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Salary: £17,680 per annum plus benefits & 25 days annual leave

Apprenticeship Qualification: L3 Business Admin

Expected Apprenticeship Duration: 12 months

Here at Serco, we are looking for a Business Support Apprentice to join us working within Serco's employment delivery team for the Restart Scheme. You'll provide administrative and organisational support to the team as well as providing support to Restart participants and the Employers they work with via telephone, email, and face to face. 

 

As our new Business Support Apprentice, you will be required to undertake a number of tasks within the department. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a willingness to learn and develop their administrative skills.

 

 

Day to day duties may include an expectation: 

  • To deliver consistently high levels of customer service when communicating with participants, Employers, and our supply chain partners.
  • To provide an exemplary first impression in this client facing role
  • To manage Employer relationships to a high standard, Data capture accurately and manage the database.
  • To provide feedback to our supply chain partners in a timely manner.
  • To handle day-to-day email and phone contact with participants, employers, and supply chain partners
  • To resolve any issues that arise
  • To Contribute to team responsibilities including writing job specifications, screening participants, supporting on events, training courses, and completing tracker forms
  • To undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required, commensurate with the level of responsibility within the area.

Preparing for your recruitment journey: 

 As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete assessments and a one-way video interview as part of your application. If you are successful, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview.  

 

Our provider will require you to take a skill scan and undertake initial assessments if you are selected for the apprenticeship.
