Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:00)


Salary: £23,000.00 - £27,000.00 per annum (dependent upon experience)




Here at Serco, we are looking for an Business Support Administrator to join our growing team at Darent Valley Hospital! Site is a 478-bed, acute district general hospital in Dartford, Kent, serving a local population of over 500,000 people.


As the Business Support Administrator you will assist the Engineering Managers, Estates Supervisors and Compliance team in a wide range of Technical Administration duties. You will be a key member of the team ensuring safe, efficient and effective maintenance is provided to the hospital. A key part of the role is to manage and monitor the CAFM system to ensure that all reactive and PPM works are correctly assigned to engineers. You will assist in ensuring jobs do not fail their SLA's and run daily reports and issue these to supervisors and managers. You will take notes / minutes at various meetings and input data relating to various testing and maintenance schedules. You will also be required to attend on-site and off-site training.



About you 


This is a fast paced, demanding role, which will require a high level of attention to detail, so experience in this type of role is beneficial however not essential. You will be a Self-motivated team player with the ability to work on your own initiative whilst interfacing with senior management, operational teams, and client contact points. You will need good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be process driven. Due to the nature of this role you will have expert knowledge in core Microsoft office IT Skills.


The role may require you to visit areas that have patients so discretion is always therefore required and patient privacy and dignity will be at the forefront of everything that you do, and you will also have to pass a Basic DBS disclosure.
