Here at Serco we're looking for a Business Support Assistant to join us at Lincolnshire County Council. If you are looking for a new challenge working in a fast-paced, diverse environment, then this is the role for you!
You will provide overall administration support for the residential and non-residential financial assessment function and ensure that all applications/referrals are processed and assessed in accordance with the policies of Lincolnshire County Council and DOH regulations.
You will deliver a general business support service to various clients in a flexible manner, ensuring that an effective, efficient and customer focussed service is delivered within required KPI, PI and activity timescales.
You will be working as part of a team using an adult care case management system for service users requiring Non Residential, Residential and Nursing Care. You will deal with routine correspondence and telephone enquiries of a personal and confidential nature pertaining to service users financial details and the payments to service providers.
What you will need to do the role

You will need to have experience of prioritising own workload, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues at different levels and adapting communication style as appropriate and hold the ability to process data to deadlines whilst achieving a high level of accuracy.
You must have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
To be successful in the role you will need to have strong Keyboard skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word; with the ability to learn to use financial systems.
