Serco have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Bar Staff Member at the International Fire Training Centre based at Teesside Airport.

 
Please note, due to licensing you will need to be aged 18+ in order to work behind the bar. Please note, public transport will not allow you to work at these times so you must have a suitable method of transport to commute to IFTC.


You'll be responsible for dispensing and serving drinks in line with all licensing laws and regulations in a safe and courteous manner to all of the IFTC customers and making sure they enjoy their experience.
 
Please note this role is casual shift work when needed and the hours are as follows:


Sunday, 17.15 to 23.15
Monday to Thursday 18.45 to 23.45
(Possible 1 to 3 shifts per week and to cover holidays)

Includes Bank Holidays as and when required
 
Main Accountabilities:
 

  • Check bar float and sign cash sheet to confirm float, highlighting any discrepancies
  • Replenish stock in cellar to ensure sufficient supplies for the night service, changing gas cylinders as and when required
  • Prepare bar for service
  • Dispense and serve drinks in line with all licensing laws in a safe, responsible, and courteous manner
  • General deep cleaning duties during quieter periods
  • End of service cleaning and rotational stock replenishment
  • Cashing up of till

 
What you'll need to do the role:

 

  • Good all round communication skills (Essential)
  • Be able to commute to the role when needed (location is remote)
