Serco are recruiting for Catering Assistants to join their current team based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The Key purpose of the role is to provide a retail service that meets the expectations of the patients, staff, and visitors both in terms of quality, safety, and value for money whilst maintaining high cleaning standards. This role will be predominately dealing with internal hospitality functions onsite.
Main Accountabilities
In this role you will be responsible for providing a courteous and efficient catering service to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. You will Prepare and serve food to customers, operate a cash register and handle cash, optimise retail sales by demonstrating high levels of customer service and correctly use and clean catering and service equipment including floors, work surfaces, and related equipment.
What you'll need to do the role
You will need excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate well with both customers and colleagues. You will be able to demonstrate experience handling food and have a passion for helping others and working within a healthcare environment!
