Here at Serco we are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to join us at HMP Dovegate - a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire where we care for up to 1160 male adult prisoners over the age of 21 serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving long and short term sentences.
You must have experience working in a commercial catering department within a prison setting or similar environment. You will manage the busy catering department for our prisoners and 400 staff, therefore it is imperative you have significant experience including ordering and deliveries, budgeting, auditing and staff management.

What you will need to do the role
Firstly, you must hold Level 3 Catering qualification and a clear advantage will be Leadership and Management qualifications.
As with any role at this level, you will have excellent IT, written and communication skills and be very well organised.
In addition, your ability to use a range of management and leadership styles to support and motivate others will be evident and clear to succeed to in this role.
