HMP Doncaster

Full time, 40 Hours A Week,

Monday to Friday, Routine: 05:00 - 13:30 (subject to change)

Salary: £21,851.34

 

Key Purpose:

 

  • The post holder will be responsible for taking care of our facilities following our cleaning schedule. 
  • Act as a supporting function in the challenging environment of a secure establishment.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Clean all areas that are assigned within the Cleaning Schedule.
  • Maintain cleaning stock within designated areas.
  • Comply with Health & Safety Cleaning Procedures.
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies.
  • Carry out any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.

 

 

Essential qualifications & Additional/special features of the role:

 

  • British Institute of Cleaning Services (BICS) desirable, training provided.
  • Basic Health & Safety qualification.
  • Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative working to deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Operate equipment i.e. vacuums, buffers & wet vac machines. 
  • Carry out all duties assigned in a safe manner, observing all statutory and local regulations.
  • Ability to handle and dispose of confidential information with sensitivity, integrity, and good judgment.
  • Previous experience essential

 

 

Additional/special features of the role:

 

  • Biohazard cleaning could be required with training provided.
  • Recognise areas of improvements of working practices.
  • Maintain records of tools.
