Full Time, 42 hours, Permanent 

We have some exciting opportunities to join our team in based in Lerwick. You'll be supervising our Cleaning team who work hard to provide a high-quality service within one of Transport's flagship contracts NorthLink Ferries. In this role of Cleaning Supervisor you will ensure a high level of cleanliness of the vessels, terminal buildings and other port facilities at all times.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensuring defects found within the Vessel are reported to line management
• Lost property must be dealt with according to Serco NorthLink lost property policies
• Ensure that the PPE provided is worn on duty
• Cleaning within a kitchen environment
• Working on a vessel prior to departure
• Cleaning within the terminal buildings as required and any other port facilities
• Making up cabins and beds daily
• Arrange the roster on a weekly bases
• Check the standards of cleaning is to spec
• Liaise with the onboard hotel manager daily
• Ensure that all healthy and safety measures are followed and comply with Serco essentials
• Ensure that all staff are completing the serco LMS training.

What we are looking for?

• Living in the local catchment area
• Have great customer service skills
• Be computer literate and have the ability to use Microsoft Office
• It is desirable for you to have supervisory experiecne but not essential
