The Commercial Contractor will support the National Crime and Justice Lab (NCJL) Programme through the various commercial activities required to procure a 'Data Partner' through the CCS RM6126 Research and Insight framework, as well as setting up the commercial process to bring in academics to carry out research on the data.
The National Crime and Justice Lab looks to deliver the Manifesto Commitment to 'create a world-class crime lab'. It will bring together the country's top experts using cutting-edge skills and techniques to interrogate these datasets, find opportunities to link datasets and answer Policing's most pressing strategic questions and improve criminal justice outcomes.

The Commercial Contractor should be familiar with using the CCS RM6126 Research and Insight framework and have experience working in collaboration with all aspects of t Commercial Directorate. The ideal candidate will have a Management Certificate in Purchasing and Supplier (MCIPS).
It is essential the Commercial Contractor has SC due to the nature of the Programme and to ensure that we can deliver at pace.
