Contract Support Officer (UAE National)

The Job Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to provide the Contract with a cohesive support service that promotes the timely delivery of operations and cost recovery, supporting all designated internal/external contacts and communications, and providing administrative support to the site management team

 

Key accountabilities

  • Interface with senior management within MELAB and externally in a professional, effective manner
  • Provide assistance in the scheduling of meetings and appointments, maintenance of files and records, data updating, preparation of various correspondences and business reports
  • Provide assistance in in preparing materials for presentations including proofreading & formatting documents, charts, tables, graphs, plans, etc
  • Ensure that written correspondence and internal letters are distributed to the concern department/people
  • Coordinates company events to make sure it runs smoothly and successfully, managing details like location, selecting menus, accommodation and transportation
  • Manage general office administration of the client's offices as assigned to Serco
  • To provide timely and effective administrative support as in when required

  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Extremely organized with strong time management skills.
  • Good in digital marketing 
  • Confident in dealing with the stakeholders and leadership team

 

Specific requirements

  • Ideally a degree holder in business management administration or communications or any related discipline.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Power Bi) - proficient in word processing, developing presentations, reports and compiling documents into standard formats.
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in managing/coordinating contract support activities in complex and challenging operational environments
  • Extensive knowledge of a multi-culture organization; know who the key personnel are (both external and internal) and able to understand the organisation's aims and objectives.
  • Appropriate experience within a contract support function within a highly competitive and commercial environment.
  • Commercial/marketing/social media management background experience is an advantage.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green / Black Belt preferred.
