Daniel Owen has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager at an intermediate level. The role is to work

alongside the commercial project team. Main sectors of work will cover, Refurbishments & Fit-Out on New Offices, Labs, Educational building & Student Housing.

They are looking for an experienced Contract Manager who has previous experience working in this sector.

Duties:

Manage the development and performance of all contract operations and establish and maintain relationships
Had experience working on projects within New Offices, Labs, Educational building & Student Housing
Ensure a high standard of service delivery of both directly delivered and subcontracted services
Achieve or exceed service level agreements and key performance indicators as well as identify opportunities for contract improvements and expansion
Ensure you area managing the operatives/supervisor's, Contracts Managers Day to day, conducting toolbox talks and performance reviews
Have experience of overseeing and seeing through planned, K&B, Internal and External contracts
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client representatives and customers as appropriate and maintain best practice introducing innovative processes which will add value and drive efficiency's
Experience managing all the high value major works projects
To recruit and develop a team including Contracts Managers, supervisors, tradesman, local contractors
Able to price and programme works from drawings, organising labour and materials etc
Regularly review service delivery
To manage and control the work of the team and external stakeholders on scheme design, resident participation
To act as the client representative for all related contracts in line with the requirements of the contract
Ensure H&S, regulatory & governance compliance for areas under the job holder's control

Key Knowledge:

Experience within Refurbishments / Fit-Out (Internal and External)
A high level of IT literacy across packages including MS Office
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on different projects simultaneously
The ability to work closely with others
provide the commercial director with well-informed options and achieve best outcomes
Must be flexible and quick to adapt to support other work streams as and when required
The ability to work in a collaborative manner and achieve positive outcomes for the business
