Purpose of the role


The role of Specialist Training Course Loader at Brize Norton is to Co-ordinate and arrange course loading of all MT related courses for personnel at RAF Brize Norton and its parented Units.


Responsibilities of the role


  • The management, filing and safeguarding of all driver files and training records, in accordance with MoD polices and procedures
  • Course loading for RAF Brize Norton, Parented, and Lodger Unit personnel requiring driving/ADR courses in accordance with MoD polices and procedures
  • Requesting authority through DST Leconfield to run distributed training courses at RAF Brize Norton
  • Booking of training areas for driving courses
  • Issue Joining Instructions to students for all courses booked
  • Collate, file and manage the training result certificates for all courses run, maintain the completed courses database on }Sharepoint.
  • Be the Theory Test Invigilator (TTI) for DVLA theory tests.
  • In the absence of the licencing clerk the delivery of MT Licensing and its associated administrative duties
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement culture, with focus on improving efficiency
  • Effectively utilise day to day use of Clarity fleet management system to streamline operational activities
  • Notify the MT Ops or Deputy MT Manager whenever deficiencies emerge that require their attention in respect of safety, risk, compliance or standards or if a matter is likely to cause a delay to a forecasted job completion or training requirements.
  • Undertake driving duties, as required and if competent and qualified.



What do I need to do the role?


  • Have a thorough understanding of Joint Service MT Regulations
  • Must be competent in the use of the Microsoft Office package and possess a high standard of oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass an SC Security Clearance
