Customer Services Administrator

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

Salary: £19,500

 

Serco Environmental in Sandwell have an exciting opportunity, as we are looking to recruit for a Customer Service Administrator on a permanent contract, to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

 

You will be working within a small team and the role will require collaborative working with the operational departments on the whole contract which include Recycling & Refuse, Street Cleansing and Grounds Maintenance teams.

 

As the Customer Service Administrator, you will be primarily responsible for the customer service delivery, taking calls and queries from members of the public and taking payments on behalf of our client as well as administration tasks.  This role includes using a client relationship management system and database to record and maintain customer correspondence and enquiries, reception duties, filling, note taking, casework and complaints within agreed services levels. You will need to use your own initiative as well as follow established procedures, processes, legislation, and systems to source information to provide a resolution for the customer.

 

The role may also involve initiating contact with individuals within the client's organisation or other 3rd parties in order to perform their job, as well as support the Customer Care Centre Manager with the management of Sales Order, Purchase Orders and dealing with Customer account queries

 

What you'll need to do the role

Using your excellent customer service and communication skills, you will be confident in a busy admin and call centre environment.

 

You will use your experience in dealing with customers to communicate via the telephone, email paying attention to detail, therefor this role will require you to be computer literate in Microsoft office packages and email.

 

Withing this role you will need to be organised and be able to plan and prioritise tasks whilst managing you own workload effectively and efficiently to adhere to deadlines and KPI's (Key performance indicators).

 

Previous experience of SAP, data processing, reconciliations and CRM would be an advantage but not essential as all training will be provided.
