Serco's Environmental Services provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Milton Keynes. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse and Recycling and Street Cleansing staff, we ensure that streets are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve. And right now, we have an opportunity for a like-minded Administrator to join our team of essential key workers and help us make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.
As part of this role you will use a client relationship management system or database to record and maintain customer correspondence in order to develop and maintain a network of relationships with the customer, partners and stakeholders, which will help you anticipate and meet our customers and stakeholders needs.

This role will predominantly provide general accounting and administration support for the Administration Manager, you will also be working as part of a wider team so will be happy to support others in their roles with tasks such as; filing, processing paperwork and archiving.

What do I need to do the role?
To be considered for a position within our team, you will be an experienced administrator from a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently and to tight deadlines.
You should have excellent attention to detail, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office in particular Excel, as you will be using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs in order to prepare and present reports to management and clients.
You will be customer focussed with an analytical approach to problem solving.
