About the Role
You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery.

About the Larrakeyah Health Centre
Larrakeyah Health Centre is located at the Larrakeyah Barracks in Darwin City. The facility supports Army personnel and HMAS Coonawarra, and has a routine dependency of 1,100 personnel, surging every 3 months to conduct pre and post deployment medicals. The centre provides primary medical, dental, and physiotherapy services. Standard operating hours are 0730-1600, Monday-Friday.
You have a professional and friendly manner and enjoy interacting with patients and assisting the dental team with a range of support activities. Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures, you take pride in contributing to the cleanliness and effectiveness of a dental surgery environment and assisting your team wherever possible. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing dental support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
