Serco has a great opportunity within Employment Skills and Enterprise for a Digital Skills Tutor to join our ever expanding adult education skills team. The Digital Skills Tutor will offer innovative and high-quality provision. As well as the delivery of sessions, tutors will be involved in the creation, development and review of our courses. It is expected that successful applicants will bring with them extensive experience of all stages of the training deliver cycle.
Digital Skills Tutors (Adult Education) will be responsible for delivery of digital skills training as part of Serco's Adult Education Budget (AEB) provision within the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).
Delivery will be through a mix of group and one-to-one sessions, delivered both in-person and remotely online so travel within the West Midlands will be necesssary. Topics will cover all aspects of digital skills, for those looking to gain work in a variety of sectors (customer service, business administration, etc).
Digital skills courses may be run as standalone delivery or integrated into other programmes. Collaboration between all delivery colleagues, as well as the Programme Manager and Programme Administrator, will be key
