Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00-4:30)
Here at VIVO we are looking for a Direct Delivery Operative to work based out of RAF Credenhill in Wales.
You will be working within a team of 3 to de-lead the firing ranges on site. You will be using machinery, hand tools and sweeping brushes along with a 360 digger in order to sieve the sand on the shooting ranges and ensure they are deleaded of bullets. You will also be undertaking general maintenance of the shooting ranges, which can include painting and doing timberwork.
As part of this, your role will be to maintain the grounds, and to do this you will be using heavy plant and machinery, ordering materials, organising deliveries, and keeping in communication with on-site clients.
What you'll need to do this role
Firstly, it is essential that you have previous experience as a grounds operative or in civil engineering, and are comfortable handling lead on a day to day basis. You will also need to have experience in using machinery and hand tools. As you will be travelling to different sites in a company van, it is essential you have a full UK driving license.
It is desirable that you have previous experience or a qualification in a trade.
As part of this role you will be required to undergo blood tests for health monitoring reasons as you will be handling lead.
You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
