Serco, the FTSE 250 provider of services to government, is investing to create a best-in-class vocational skills business. With new funding streams and an increased government commitment to adult learning, this is a key investment priority for Serco in the UK. We aim to be not just best in class as a training provider but also as a key part of propositions from the wider Serco and in supporting the training providers in the wider skills sector.
Already a major player in delivering training to the education sector, we are looking to grow and widen our apprenticeship and funded provision with an initial focus on the public sector employers. This is a truly unique opportunity to help build capabilities and scale for this business and be part of the team that builds a market leadership position in our target sectors. You will help define our journey and become a key leader in this rapidly expanding business.
You will be responsible for the widening and deepening of our delivery capabilities, building services to support other training providers and embedding the skills offer in services offered by the wider Serco. You will be interacting with senior Central Government and other public sector stakeholders with a view to understand and contribute to policy.
