We are now looking for an experienced waste water operations professional to lead our Networks and Customer Service Division within Waste Water Services, based at our Head Office in Exeter.

[b]What will you be doing?[/b]

Joining our team, this Director post within Waste Water Services will be accountable to the Operations Director for the successful delivery of Networks and Customer Services and network and pump station operations. This is a critical role in our business, and you'll be responsible for ensuring targeted performance improvements across Health & Safety, Environmental, Customer Service, ODI and Financial Performance.

The Director of Waste Water Services will develop and lead the Pollution reduction strategy, including internal flooding, driving improved performance throughout the business. You'll show strong, dynamic leadership of health and safety demonstrate leadership and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of service and build trust and confidence.

As a key member of the Waste Water Leadership team, you will ensure that asset management and investment programmes are delivered effectively to optimise operational performance and improve resilience. You will deliver a people strategy which supports significant cultural change, ensures that the workforce is fit for future needs and drives increased levels of trust and engagement.

[b]What do you need?[/b]

The successful Director of Waste Water Services will be highly customer orientated and have an excellent understanding of health & safety, environmental management and waste water networks operations.

*You will be able to lead and deliver business change, secure strong staff engagement, have proven customer service delivery skills and be known for successful financial management.*The successful post holder will also be a senior reputable figure with the ability to obtain companywide commitment to the delivery and improvement of waste water service requirements.*A proven understanding of waste water operations, health & safety requirements and environmental management is essential; and you'll have demonstrable experience carrying out cultural change and improving employee engagement a field-based team. You'll also have an excellent understanding and experience operating within a regulatory environment.*A Full driving licence will be required.
