There is currently a vacancy for Drivers within the Serco Transport department at RAF Brize Norton. Serco drivers are responsible to the Transport Manager for the completion of all transport tasks required during their time on duty. Shifts will be based on a 4 day week with on call weekend requirement on a rotational basis.
As part of this you'll:
- Conform to safe working practices and ensure that any discrepancies are reported.
- Undertake specific non-driving duties, i.e., vehicle cleaning and general husbandry of vehicles and work areas.
- Undertake training provided to ensure competency and currency on vehicles.
- Operate any vehicle you have been trained and licensed to drive.
- Maintain valid licences and permits required for the role
What you'll need to do the role
- Have a valid clean driving licence & must not be colour blind.
- Essential to hold Driving Licence Category D (and C is desirable). Salary dependant on licences held.
- Must hold Colour Perception Level 2 to be able to drive on an airfield
- CPC (desirable but can be achieved on the job).
