The client is a small company based in Swanley Kent (BR8) where they have a workshop/office and a warehouse.
The main business is to supply and service traction batteries for large hybrid and electrics vehicles such as buses. They currently have the contract to maintain the batteries on 1000 "Borris buses".
Due to expansion, they are looking for 2-3 electrical engineers to work as both field service and workshop engineers.
The workshop part of the role would be based from the Swanley workshop and would involve stripping down and repairing High voltage batteries (600V) and also providing remote diagnostics/support to their customers. The field service part of the role would involve attending customer sites around London, throughout the UK and occasionally Europe.
Salary up to £45,000 per annum subject to experience.
The ideal candidate would need:
Strong electrical and electronics skills
Clean UK driving license
Excellent communication skills
High voltage experience would be very advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Willingness to travel mostly inside the M25 but also throughout the UK and Europe as required
Physically fit and able lift battery modules
Very flexible attitude
No shifts / remote working / or hybrid working
