Emotional and Social Difficulties (ESD) Mentor Northampton
With additional responsibility for the day to day management of LAC and PLAC students and the management of their PEPs and ePEPs
Founded in 1541, our client based in Northampton is a state-funded boys' school that are now are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to work as part of our Additional Intervention Team, with particular focus on supporting students from a Looked after Child background and those with emotional and social difficulties
Main duties of the role include:
- develop strategies to help overcome hurdles for disengaged learners
- work as part of a team to support whole school strategies to ensure all students make rapid progress and close any gaps
- be able to model professional skills when working with parents and outside agencies
35 hours per week (8.00 a.m. to 3.45 p.m. with ?? hour lunch), for 39 weeks per year (relating to term time plus training days)Salary:
NSB Scale Point 2-5Within the range £13,953.72 - £14,807.76 pa actual (Pro-rata of £17,711 to £18,795 pa)
Due to the nature of the role, you must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Closing Date: Friday 20 th September, 9 am Interviews: during w/c 23 rd September
