As a result of the incredible work we do, we're looking for an Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing Manager to use their innovation and creativity to entice top tier candidates to apply to our roles, empowering the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to tell the Serco story effectively to attract and nurture candidates.

 

In this delivery focused role, you will drive this recruitment by designing, developing and executing the Serco brand and employee value proposition to build the Serco presence, driving qualified candidates to our roles. In this key role you will deliver recruitment solutions across all areas of the TA Team to include the attraction of candidates across Corporate Functions, Defence, Justice & Immigration, Transport, Health and Citizen Services.
 

As part of this you'll:

 

  • Design, develop and execute the Serco brand and EVP, to build Serco presence and drive qualified candidates to our roles
  • Hold accountability for a £200k+ budget spend on behalf of the business. Influence senior stakeholders in spend rationale and decide what strategy will be deployed to achieve the desired outcome, which is particularly important for large bids
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target audience to ensure messaging is impactful
  • Collaborate and partner with the Talent Acquisition, Communications and Marketing teams to deliver successful talent attraction campaigns
  • Leverage creative and engaging content to entice prospective candidates to apply
  • Input into group strategy in relation to employer branding
  • Provide new, innovative sourcing strategies
  • Line manage two attraction and comms specialists

 

What you'll need to do the role:
 

  • Substantial experience in a Recruitment Marketing and Branding role is essential, along with proven creative ability in developing and implementing effective candidate sourcing strategies
  • Understanding of wider recruitment related areas including metrics, branding, diversity and social media is crucial, underpinned by strong advert writing, copywriting and design skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder influencing skills to successfully deliver a variety of requirements across the business
  • Strong understanding and experience in the use of social recruiting tools and avenues
  • Previous experience in creating and delivering a successful employee value proposition
  • Delivery focused, capable of managing and prioritising workloads and delivering across a variety of requirements with a varied service line mix
  • Strong organisational and planning skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
