Engagement Manager
Hybrid - 2 days a week in Solihull with regular site visits.
Full time, Permanent
Salary - £40,000 plus company car
Here at Serco, apprentice programmes form a key part of our Learning and Development strategy. We deliver programmes from Level 2 through to Level 7 internally and through referral partners. We are seeking an Engagement Manager who will specifically support the Learning and Development team in ensuring that our colleagues are aware of the offering, enrolled on the correct programmes and are engaged to achieve brilliant results through completion of these. You will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders (within Serco business units and referral partners) to promote apprenticeship and learning offerings and achieve/ support start targets against these.
As part of this you'll:
Work with development coaches and the apprenticeship manager to develop robust learning plans for apprentice learners from the start of their programme.
Advise and induct apprentices and support our referral partners in the development and launch of potential new apprenticeships within Serco.
Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure that they are aware of apprentices across their functions, the progress of apprentices and provide support where required.
Deliver information through webinars, roadshows, team meetings and accurate data reporting and internal communications.
Achieve forecasted monthly starts targets and overall objective of 5% of eligible Serco staff on an apprenticeship programme within Serco.
Accurate data reporting against budget forecasting of starts.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to deliver an outstanding experience to leaners whilst on their apprenticeship.
What you'll need to do the role:
Excellent presenting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience/knowledge of apprenticeship delivery and associated regulations.
Stakeholder management.
Experience presenting and delivering to groups.
Caseload/project management experience.
The ability to use own initiative and work independently.
Excellent organisation and time management.
