About you

You are a highly organised and detail oriented Executive Officer, with exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills that can influence and interact at all levels of an organisation. You thrive in a fast-paced challenging environment and combine your strong attention to detail with an ability to see the bigger picture. You have excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills and can work independently to manage and deliver concurrent activities / initiatives. You are passionate and dedicated and demonstrate exceptional moral values in all that you do.

 

About the role

The Executive Officer will provide a range of high-level executive, administrative and project support services to the Managing Director Justice & Immigration and the Executive Management Team (EMT), supporting the achievement of the organisation's strategic and operational objectives.

You will provide analysis for all areas of contract operation, including compliance with contractual obligations, formulation of reports and recommendations. Assisting in forward planning and execution of strategic goals; evaluation and understanding of third-party groups; recommendation and implementation of best practice initiatives.

 

To be successful you will have:

  • Personal integrity and personal values consistent with Serco's values.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business/Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar business area.
  • Worked within a multi-discipline/multi-function environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational project planning, reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience operating within this environment at management level.
  • Demonstrated experience in research, evaluation and preparation of written proposals and business case scenarios.
  • Superior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence others and build respect.
  • Strong Project management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Deadline orientation with accurate and timely delivery.
  • Post graduate degree or higher in Business and/or Management (desirable).
