Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:
Planning and implementing the export deliveries of military equipment under current legislation.
Ensuring compliance to regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements and adhering to UK trade controls, delivery terms and their implementation.
Liaising with customers and other internal or external bodies (e.g. - freight forwarders) on Import or Export matters.
Ensuring governance and compliance in regard to the physical delivery of customer and the clients assets are always considered.
Ensuring the financial element of import/export operations are considered at every opportunity.
The Individual
Essential:
Professionally qualified in an international trade discipline or equivalent experience with supply chain
Solid applied knowledge of international trade management matters with good experience of applying up to date export techniques.
Strong attention to detail skills
Good team player but have that ability to work your own
Desirable:
Ideally be a member of the institute of Export
Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics
Working knowledge of the international delivery of explosives, weapons related equipment and hazardous goods.
