Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an External Fulfilment Lead on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to lead commercial capability programmes, partner with senior stakeholders, and drive business performance through strategic learning and development initiatives.

⏰ Working Hours

📅 Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

📅 Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm

🚀 About the Role

As an External Fulfilment Lead, you will act as the primary partner for commercial training and capability development, ensuring learning solutions align with business objectives and support organisational success.

Working closely with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Excellence, and Training teams, you will identify capability gaps, define learning priorities, and oversee end-to-end training programmes that deliver measurable business outcomes.

📋 What Will You Be Doing?

As External Fulfilment Lead, you will:

✅ Partner with commercial stakeholders to identify capability gaps and development opportunities

✅ Translate business priorities into structured learning journeys and capability programmes

✅ Govern end-to-end training programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

✅ Work collaboratively with Training Development, Training Delivery, and Customer Excellence teams

✅ Drive continuous improvement across commercial learning pathways

✅ Build strong relationships with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders

✅ Monitor programme effectiveness and performance outcomes

✅ Ensure learning content, delivery, and outcomes meet quality and compliance standards

✅ Support risk management, governance, and continuous improvement activities

✅ Deliver scalable learning solutions that create long-term business value

We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional with a strong commercial focus and a passion for building capability, driving performance, and influencing positive organisational change.

Essential Skills & Experience

🎓 Qualification in Learning & Development, Business, Organisational Development, or a related field

📚 Significant experience within Learning & Development, Commercial Enablement, or Training Management

📈 Experience designing, managing, and governing end-to-end learning programmes

🤝 Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

💡 Experience translating business strategy into practical and measurable learning solutions

📋 Knowledge of learning governance, quality assurance, and compliance processes

🗣️ Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills

📅 Strong project management and organisational abilities

Desirable Experience

💼 Experience supporting Sales, Partnerships, Customer Excellence, or other commercial functions

👥 Experience working with trainers, subject matter experts, and content development teams

🚀 Experience driving business transformation and capability development initiatives
