My client is one of the UKs leaders in fire protection services, offering a 3rd party accredited service to works on fire doors and fire stopping in social housing and occupied premises. The company likes to put their staff first - they work to live as opposed to working all hours of the day, invest in training their staff through CPD, and excellent engagement with their staff
They are based in SE London, but have big contracts in London and Bracknell (and surrounding areas). They are growing their branch and bringing in an experienced QS is a priority for them at the moment.
To be considered for this role, you will need experience of working in fire protection / social housing contracts, be able to show a good working knowledge of monthly reports, be able to work to tight deadlines, and have extensive commercial management experience.
You will be expected to take projects from award to final pricing, report CVRs / forecast, manage sub-contract accounts, produce applications for payment, measure / price and evaluate tenders and cost management.
