The Serco Design, Integration and Test team is looking for skilled engineers with a desire to develop their careers in electronics, hardware, and automatic test engineering. As our Graduate Hardware Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing hardware solutions which involves the definition, integration, commissioning, acceptance, and Post Design Support (PDS) of electronics hardware and test equipment. You will be responsible for architectural design, detailed design (electronic and mechanical, PCB layout, and circuit design), verification testing, support, and obsolescence management.
Serco DIT offer unique opportunities for engineering staff to work in a small team on the full lifecycle of product and service development, where everyone's contribution is critical to the overall success of the business. Prospective applicants can expect exposure to all aspects of project delivery, with opportunities for some travel in the UK and Europe to support our existing and new customers.
Serco's DIT team forms part of the technology capability, providing high integrity test solutions, through-life support, data acquisition/simulation, and technical consultancy. The DIT team works with leading industry technologies and tools, which are integrated into innovative solutions that enables customers to reduce costs and succeed in their goals.
