Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre

Job Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 39 per week, between Monday to Friday, plus weekend work when required, (7am - 3.30 Mon -Thurs, Fri 7am - 2.30pm)

Salary: Up to £23,270 per annum + Excellent Benefits

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Grounds Assistant to join our sporting venue.

 

Lilleshall is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Lilleshall provides excellent facilities to Britain's leading sports men and women. Lilleshall is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.

 

 

In this role you will part of the team that will be responsible for making sure our world class sporting venue remains a beautiful, safe and clean place for our staff and customers, assisting with the maintenance of trees, hedges and paths, including leaf collection and spraying, as well as grass cutting and litter picking.

 

You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities and free membership plus other various discounts. 

 
 

What you'll need to do the role 

 

You will have good communication and customer care skills, have a maturity and calmness to work under pressure, as well as being organised and taking pride in what you do.

 

You should have a strong background in Grounds maintenance or a similar environment and be willing to achieve a Horticulture qualification.
